Job Purpose/Objective
As the Strategy & Business Growth Lead, you will play a critical role in driving BrainBox’s business growth and operational efficiency. This involves close collaboration with various internal departments to create and execute strategies that identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and propel business expansion. You will be at the forefront of cultivating strong relationships with both new and existing clients, optimizing the company’s revenue generation, and ensuring the successful implementation of business strategies to deliver impactful outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy
Develop Functional Strategies: Design and execute strategies that meet business goals and support winning pitches for the Activation unit. Ensure timely brainstorming sessions and proper documentation for client presentations.
Insight Research: Source data and insights, using tools that provide world-class information and strategic direction, ensuring that the agency consistently wins a high percentage of the pitches it participates in.
Ideation & Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and actively engage in pitches to secure new business opportunities. Drive the generation of monthly reports, arrange meetings with the Managing Director (MD), and participate in quarterly presentations or pitches.
Strategic Thinking: Identify new business opportunities, evaluate market trends, and develop strategies that drive growth. Collaborate with the Media and Digital team to craft business strategies and provide valuable market insights.
Market Research: Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and lead generation. Engage in industry events that could foster new business prospects.
Collaborative Ideation: Set up strategic ideation meetings, coordinate inputs from team members, and ensure that all documents meet world-class standards.
Client Relationship
Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Deliver Exceptional Client Service: Partner with client service teams to review plans, analyze results, and ensure satisfaction. Provide regular monthly and quarterly reports on brand performance to clients.
Networking Skills: Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers. A network in the digital marketing or technology sector is advantageous.
Business Development
Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Qualify potential clients, conduct market research, and develop strategies to expand the group’s client base.
Sales Acumen: Demonstrate proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation, and closing deals. Meet or exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth.
Cultivate Business Relationships: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry, actively seeking new business opportunities and delivering innovative solutions.
Support the Sales Team: Identify and implement actions to close business growth gaps in collaboration with the sales team.
Competitive Landscape
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Regularly conduct market research to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 10years of experience in business development and strategy, preferably in a BTL agency or similar industry. At least 5 years of brand and agency experience
Strong understanding of market trends, sales techniques, and business development strategies.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in managing client relationships and developing client-facing materials.
Experience in Experiential Marketing, BTL Activations, Social Media Communications
