What You’ll Do
Provide support in ensuring financial records are maintained with precision and current information.
Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and verify that all documentation is properly completed and organized.
Overseeing financial transactions related to accounts payable and receivable entails managing incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy in billing and invoicing, reconciling accounts, and maintaining up-to-date financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while adhering to regulatory standards. Responsibilities include processing payments, tracking outstanding balances, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to optimize cash flow and financial reporting.
Provide assistance with the management of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.
Review invoices, execute payments, and balance financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare financial statements and reports in support of organizational requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial assessments to support strategic decision-making and organizational performance tracking.
Facilitate both external and internal audit functions to ensure compliance and operational accuracy.
Maintain adherence to established accounting standards and procedural guidelines.
Partner with various departments to compile and consolidate financial data from multiple sources.
Provide support in generating financial insights to inform strategic decision-making processes.
What We’re Looking For
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
You must be no older than 30 years of age.
Completed a one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program or possess a valid exemption letter from the NYC.
Exceptional proficiency in analytical reasoning and strategic problem resolution.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and ensures a high degree of accuracy in all tasks performed.
A strong command of Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential.
Skilled in conveying ideas clearly and fostering strong professional relationships through polished communication and collaborative interpersonal abilities.
