Overview
This job is a blend of accounting, administrative and general services functions.
Key Responsibilities
Management of all accounts/finance-related functions,
Manage all accounting/financial transactions – including accounts payables/receivables, records, bookkeeping, etc,
Reconcile bank transfers (inflows/outflows) with internal accounting records,
Facilitate the preparation of periodic business plans and budgets,
Monitor income/expenditure in line with the budget, and produce monthly financial and budget performance reports,
Manage the preparation of the payroll, and other related functions,
Providing general administrative support in accordance with Management’s instructions for effective and efficient running of the school operations,
Ensure good operation and functionality of various office equipment/facilities, ensure preventive maintenance, etc,
Assist in organizing events/activities, and support business development initiatives whenever needed,
Perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by management.
Requirements
BSc/HND in Accounting, Business Admin.
Previous work experience in a reputable school will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Advanced MS Excel Skills.
Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
Excellent IT capability.
A strong business orientation: including setting short- and long-term plans/priorities.
Excellent communication.
