Role Description
The Accountant and Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of Cirvee Academy. This full-time, on-site role involves:
Preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial statements to ensure accurate reporting.
Managing budgets, cash flows, and forecasting to aid decision-making.
Conducting financial analysis and providing actionable insights for business strategy.
Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Handling payroll, expense tracking, and tax filings.
Collaborating with HR and management to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
Utilizing accounting and financial software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting and finance software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
CPA or CFA certification (or progress toward these certifications) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with HR analytics and payroll systems.
Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance standards.
Proficiency in creating financial dashboards and reports for non-financial stakeholders.
