Job Description:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented accountant to join our team. The accountant will be responsible for managing the store’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow statements
Monitor and record daily financial transactions, ensuring they align with company policies
Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements and financial records
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision making
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely disbursements to employees
Qualifications:
BSc. / HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in similar role
Professional qualification is an added advantage
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organizational and time management abilities
