Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Account Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations at our Service Centre.
This role requires someone with strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and above all, high levels of integrity and accountability.
The ideal candidate will have mid to senior-level experience in accounting functions and will be responsible for managing transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records at the service location.
Responsibilities
Manage all financial transactions at the service centre, including customer payments, invoicing, petty cash, and banking.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with company policies and accounting standards.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collections, sales, and expenditures.
Reconcile cash, bank, and inventory records with internal systems and report discrepancies.
Support stock and inventory management by ensuring alignment between physical and system records.
Collaborate with the central Finance team to ensure timely remittance of funds and compliance with audit requirements.
Ensure all transactions are properly documented and supported by relevant approvals and receipts.
Act as the first point of contact for financial matters within the service centre.
Uphold and model the company’s values, particularly in maintaining confidentiality, transparency, and ethical financial practices.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience.
Relevant experience in a similar industry will be an added advantage.
Skills Requirements:
Proven experience with cash handling, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and accountability in previous roles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
