Account Officer – FPSO Operations

Job Summary:

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in the oil and gas industry? As an Account Officer for FPSO Operations, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of essential equipment, spare parts, and services. Your mission is to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies for FPSO operations, ensuring timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms for FPSO materials while maintaining quality and reliability.
Oversee the preparation of purchase orders, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and coordination of delivery schedules to FPSO units.
Liaise with the Quality Assurance Coordinator and technical teams to ensure that FPSO materials meet required standards.
Manage vendor relationships, vendor database, and contracts.
Track and report on KPIs for procurement performance such as on-time delivery and supplier performance.
Track and manage inventory levels of all FPSO operational materials.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, industry regulations, and local/international supply chain requirements.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs and budget management.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of FPSO equipment and materials.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to prevent operational downtime.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous process improvement in procurement processes.

Profile Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Grade: Minimum of Second Class Upper.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of offshore operations, marine logistics, and oilfield equipment procurement.
Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and international sourcing.
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PEMSERP).
