Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent attention to detail, and expertise in accounting and financial analysis.
You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, managing reporting processes, and driving efficiency in the account department.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue error-free invoices to clients nationwide.
Ensure timely posting of source documents (invoices, petty cash vouchers).
Process staff salaries and payroll using accounting software.
Conduct monthly salary reconciliation and manage staff salary loans.
Handle remittance of tax returns to relevant authorities.
Spearhead debt recovery from clients and conduct financial spot checks.
Reconcile bank transactions and maintain financial records.
Oversee payroll accounting, balance sheet analysis, and financial reconciliations.
Maintain fixed assets register and record monthly depreciation entries.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for management review.
Perform any other assigned accounting-related tasks.
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
ACA/ACCA certification (or in progress) is an added advantage
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Expertise in financial analysis and accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Excellent planning, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity
Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
