Account Officer

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

Manage the financial bookkeeping of the organization.
Reconciling yearly and monthly transactions
To monitor the use of purchased goods and materials. This helps to protect the company from incurring costs.
Responsible for billing activities; getting cheaper rates on all materials required by the company.
Assist the logistic personnel in working together to fill orders and deliver materials on a timely basis.
Reconciling of the actual use of a project and what was requested for in the In-house BoQ.   
Follow-up on all office expenses, inclusive of paying site engineers when due during and after any form of project.
Make sure that all in-house BoQs sent are accurate from their respective projects before approval of payment.

 Requirement 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Membership in a recognized professional body i.e., ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
