Job Summary
They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with at least two years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing their financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the clinic’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.
Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Audits: Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to track costs, revenues, and financial performance of the clinic.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Familiarity with regulatory and financial incentives in the medical sector.
Possession of professional certification is an added advantage
