Role Description and Responsible
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account HMO Billing Officer for a Client .
Process and submit HMO claims, invoices, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
Reconcile payments received from HMOs with invoices and ensure discrepancies are resolved.
Maintain accurate records of HMO transactions and ensure compliance with billing policies.
Liaise with HMOs, insurance providers, and relevant stakeholders to follow up on pending claims and outstanding payments.
Assist in preparing financial reports related to HMO transactions and billing.
Review and verify patient eligibility and coverage with HMOs before billing.
Handle disputes and discrepancies related to HMO claims and escalate issues when necessary.
Ensure adherence to all financial and healthcare regulations regarding billing and claims processing.
Collaborate with the finance and accounts department to ensure smooth financial operations related to HMOs.
Qualifications
Bsc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 years experience in HMO billing, medical claims processing, or healthcare finance.
Strong understanding of HMO policies, billing procedures, and healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Must be Living on Lagos Island
