IBAN was founded on April 27, 2011, following approvals from the Federal Ministries of Education and Justice. Originally established as The Institute of Business Advisers (IBA), it later adopted a new name to reflect a national identity with a strong emphasis on international business.
Dedicated to excellence in education, training, and research, IBAN operates as a recognized non-profit professional organization. It is responsible for evaluating, accrediting, and fostering the ongoing professional growth of international business advisers, practitioners, and consultants in Nigeria.
