Founded in June 2012 and officially incorporated as La Fayette Microfinance Bank Limited, Ad vans Nigeria operates as the seventh Greenfield institution within the Ad vans Network. The bank’s mission is to serve micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria’s urban centers, where research indicates that fewer than one in ten entrepreneurs have access to formal credit facilities.

With a growing presence, Ad vans Nigeria inaugurated its first branch in Ibadan—Nigeria’s third-largest city—at the end of January 2013. A second branch followed in May 2013, and two additional branches opened in early 2014. The institution continues to expand within Yo State, a region with an approximate population of 5.5 million, aiming to extend its reach across the state in the coming years.

Licensed as a microfinance bank, Ad vans Nigeria provides a comprehensive suite of financial solutions tailored to MSMEs, including loan products ranging from NGN 30,000 (approximately EUR 140) to NGN 20,000,000 (approximately EUR 93,600). In addition to business financing, the bank offers current and savings accounts designed for both individuals and MSMEs.
