Grunting International Secondary School is a prestigious Nigerian independent boarding institution situated in Obey, Anam bra State. Inspired by the pedagogical philosophy of renowned Danish philosopher N. F. S. Grunting, the school adheres to his transformative *education-for-life* model. It provides comprehensive secondary education to students aged 12 to 18 and was established in 1998 by the late Dr. Kochi Zumba SNR (1942–2011). In 2013, the school achieved a significant milestone by winning the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) Mathematics Competition in Anam bra State.
