DEC Nigeria is a membership-based, non-governmental organization operating independently of religious or political affiliations. Its mission is to deliver social and microfinance services to women’s groups, local communities, and nongovernmental organizations across Nigeria. By strengthening their capabilities, DEC facilitates sustainable development initiatives.
The Development Exchange Centre (DEC) was established in November 1987, following collaborative research conducted by the Canadian University Service Overseas (CUSO) and the Adult and Non-Formal Education Agency (AREA) of Baluchi State.
