Journal Publishing
Soon after launching its book publishing operations in 2003, Adonis & Abbey identified a significant demand among African scholars for journal publishing opportunities to advance knowledge in their respective fields. However, many faced considerable obstacles in establishing and maintaining academic periodicals, as evidenced by the high attrition rate of journals published by African institutions. Recognizing this gap, the company sought to address this challenge.
In June 2004, Adonis & Abbey launched *African Renaissance*, a bi-monthly multidisciplinary journal. By 2007, it transitioned to a quarterly publication and has since maintained a consistent publishing schedule. In 2006, the company introduced *African Journal of Business and Economic Research*, which has also been published regularly ever since.
