This position collaborates with the commercial team to oversee project cost control, performance measurement, valuation processes, and subcontractor management for ongoing road construction projects.
The ideal candidate will handle quantity take-offs, perform site measurements, provide interim valuation support, track variations, assist with subcontractor payments, and prepare cost reports under the guidance of the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration, along with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting is essential, as is a solid grasp of accounting principles and practices. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively. Prior experience with financial software and ERP systems is advantageous, and familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements is highly desirable. Additionally, the role requires the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
A degree or Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying is required for this role.
With a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying within the realm of road or civil infrastructure projects, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of practical expertise to the role.
Proficiency in measurement, bill of quantities preparation, and valuation support is essential.
