Job Description

Type and format all documents which includes motion and affidavit, written address, brief of arguments, writs of summons, record of court processes, letter to court registrar, agreement, legal opinions, etc.
Prepare and label personalized list for annual diaries, etc
Send and receive/retrieve office emails and scan documents.
Monitor, update and oversee the network system and the server
Perform legal research
Transcribe dictations  
Maintain schedules and calendars including court diaries
Document and maintain case details
Set up and maintain databases and files

Requirement

Applicant must hold B.Sc/HND/ND in  Secretarial Studies/Administration
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a reputable law firm
Matured candidate with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies and with 7-10 years’ experience in a reputable law firm will be considered
Candidate who has not worked in a law firm does not need to apply
Only candidates that has worked in a law firm as a Secretary will be shortlisted for interview
