This position collaborates with the commercial team to oversee project expenditures, performance metrics, valuation processes, and subcontractor coordination for ongoing road construction initiatives.

The ideal candidate will manage quantity take-offs, perform site measurements, provide interim valuation support, track variations, assist with subcontractor payments, and prepare cost reports under the guidance of the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor.

A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a related field is required. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also necessary. Additionally, prior experience with project management tools and software is preferred.

A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Quantity Surveying is required.

With a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying, you will have contributed to road or civil infrastructure projects throughout your career.

Proven expertise in measurement, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and valuation support services is essential.

Professionals with a proven track record in validating subcontractor payments and overseeing variation management will find this role compelling. The position requires hands-on experience in certifying payments to subcontractors and effectively managing variations to contracts, ensuring compliance and financial accuracy throughout the process.

Possesses a foundational understanding of cost reporting methodologies and the principles of project commercial control.

Proficient in analyzing engineering drawings to accurately determine measurements.

NILS registration or candidacy for membership presents a significant advantage.
