Job Summary

We invite applications for the position of Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, requiring a distinguished professional with extensive expertise in delivering specialist care for obstetric and gynecological conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in providing outstanding maternal and reproductive healthcare services, guiding junior clinicians, and enhancing clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction through ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert consultations, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions in the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Provide comprehensive antenatal, antepartum, and postnatal care services to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal health outcomes throughout the pregnancy journey.

Conduct elective and emergency obstetric and gynecological surgical procedures with expertise and precision.

Attend ward rounds and collaborate in multidisciplinary patient management meetings to contribute to comprehensive care planning.

Provide guidance and support to medical officers, resident doctors, and other healthcare professionals, fostering their professional growth and development.

Maintain adherence to clinical governance protocols, quality assurance measures, and patient safety regulations.

Ensure medical documentation is kept precise and completed without delay.

Engage in ongoing medical education, conduct clinical audits, and contribute to research initiatives to maintain professional competency and advance healthcare practices.

Deliver emergency on-call support whenever necessary to ensure timely response and resolution of critical situations.

Play a key role in establishing and executing departmental policies and protocols to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
