Job Summary:
The System Administrator / IT Executive oversees the seamless functioning, security, and dependability of the organization’s IT infrastructure. Responsibilities encompass administering computer systems, networks, servers, software applications, and user accounts, delivering technical assistance to staff, upholding cybersecurity protocols, executing system backups and proactive maintenance, resolving hardware and software malfunctions, managing IT assets and license compliance, and facilitating the deployment of technology-driven projects.
This position is responsible for adhering to IT policies and industry best practices, as well as reducing system downtime and protecting organizational data.
Oversee a range of critical tasks including the management of daily operations, development and implementation of strategic plans, and coordination of cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accountability. Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with long-term business goals, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of the organization’s servers, networks, and workstation systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime.
Investigate and resolve hardware and software complications encountered by team members.
Ensure cybersecurity protocols are in place and updated.
Oversee the administration of IT assets, maintain software licenses in compliance, and cultivate productive vendor partnerships.
Support IT needs for ongoing projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are crucial for effective collaboration. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines. Familiarity with current industry trends and best practices is highly advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of three years of practical experience in IT administration, candidates should possess a proven track record in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure.
Extensive expertise in network infrastructure, hardware systems, and security protocols is required.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in problem resolution and conveys information clearly and effectively.
