SHIFT believes design is a powerful way to convey ideas and engage people. You will be designing a wide variety of products across digital and traditional media. You will lead our efforts to leverage design for the attainment of strategic goals and objectives. To be successful, the Design Lead will be creative, able to develop and manage projects from start to finish. 
JOB DESCRIPTION

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact.
Develop and create both digital and print design for a wide range of print and online campaigns, publications and advertising.
Manage, produce and design projects from brief to fulfillment.
Ensure consistency in the organization’s corporate and promotional brand.
Maintain all company promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with teams to communicate visual strategy.
Present ideas to management, product development and commercial teams.
Present finalized ideas and concepts to the Board, colleagues and senior managers.
Creating original artwork for short and long term projects.
Produce infographics and other designs for social media platforms.
Designing pitches and presentations for the organization; the Graphic Designer will keep up to date with new software, post-production.
The Graphic Designer will deliver content for site page layouts, email designs, site graphics.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as CorelDraw, Photoshop etc.
Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them and reviewing final layouts, suggesting improvements when necessary.
Incorporate changes recommended by  board, colleagues and senior managers.
Provide support across team’s general workflow: production work, file preparation and asset management.
Refresh websites with images and videos as needed.
Manage all design work – training manuals, promotional campaigns, business cards for management, compliment slips for admin staff, T-shirt logos for promotional merchandise etc.

A strong eye for visual composition.
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
Understanding of production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
A strong portfolio, exhibiting clean visual design sensibilities.
Proficiency in Corel draw, Microsoft office, Photoshop and other creative suite applications.
Positive and professional team player.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work under pressure while still meeting deadlines and objectives.
Problem solving, nurturing relationships and juggling simultaneous projects and requests.
Exhibits work ethic driven by continuous improvement.
Able to work with a wide range of individuals within the organization from initial design briefs, to brainstorming ideas through to design and delivery.
Innovative, highly creative, good at thinking ‘out of the box’.
Keeping abreast of relevant new techniques in design software, media & photography.
Willingness and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly organized and able to prioritize own work schedule.
Able to work within brand and design guidelines.
Excellent graphical skills, creative flair and good color sense.

Adobe Creative Suite
Photoshop
Illustrator
InDesign
Graphic Design
Web Design
HTML CSS knowledge a plus
Javascript Logo Design
Presentation Design
Experience managing a fast-paced project pipeline and participate in cross-functional workflow.
Knowledge of web design processes and web content management a plus.
Expertise in other aspects of communications. .
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) tools.
Working knowledge of Google Office Productivity Tools.

WORK EXPERIENCE and TRAINING:

At least must have worked in any related graphics designing environment.
Must have 3 years or more design-related work experience.
Bachelors in Arts, or design training
Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
