Solutions Architect

Purpose of roleThe prospective candidate will manage consolidated opportunity portfolio, drive bid invest decision, risk assessment before submitting the offers, commercial & technical impact evaluation during negotiations, close the contract and transfer to Project/Site manager. Responsibilities

From the project brief, understands the customer objectives and define the strategy to win the deal, conduct site survey, energy audits and analyses the customer needs.
Responsible for validating/endorsing the technical solution; produce a comprehensive technical and commercial offer and participate/contribute to the negotiations to close the deal.
Manages the bid submission process from initial contact through contract signing; places particular emphasis on establishing the trading terms.
Oversees the execution of the overall bidding process regarding large, complex issues.
Manages the preparation of bids, proposal content, conformance to Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, customer liaison and business partner/vendor coordination.
Perform the costing in coordination with the supply chain and logistics manager, marketing, finance and other internal key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Bsc/Equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a minimum of  5 years working experience in electrical design; solar system design experience is a MUST
Experience working with current solar technology preferred;
Computer proficiency required, creating spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Software Programs
Use of software like HOMER, PVSyst, Helioscope, Schneider CONNEXT designer is mandatory after a training period if not known at the time of recruitment.
