Details:
He must be in charge of the operations of the production plant
Writing requisition and checking raw materials supplied for processing
Ensure strict adherence to instruction, rules and regulation guiding the department
He must ensure cost effective production and efficiency
To draftm time scale for the job
Monitoring processing of the batches to ensure standards in terms of quality and quantity
Supervise and motivate team of workers
Identifying training needs for effectiveness and efficiency
Other requirement to perofm this role:
Minimum of B.Eng/B.Tech/B.Sc Chem (2nd Class) or HND (Credit) in Food Science Technology, Science Lab. Tech., Microbiology, Chemistry or any other equivalent course with at least 3 years experience in production of packaged dairy.
Membership of ICCON, CSN etc. will be an added advantage
He must have a career path in dairy production
He must be innovative and creative in coming up with product samples on regular basis
Excellent planning and coordination is a must
Understanding nitty gritty of dairy production is required.
Again experience in FMCG particularly in dairy is even placed above educational qualification.
