Construction Manager Commissioning Manager

Location: Offshore, Rivers Description of Responsibilities/Functions

Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction/ fabrication, pre-commissioning, load-out and offshore installation hook-up and offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning of the facilities in conformance with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
Supervise Piling installation, Heavy lifts, welding, SIMOPS and site specific activities
Interact with Client representatives on field installation activities
Complete safety meetings, and safety evaluations on a daily basis or as required by client.
Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans
Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with subcontractor and among Project Team members
Manage subcontractors, according to procedure, carry out construction site management
Complete daily, weekly and monthly construction reports. Monitor and report to Project Manager of project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
Responsible for overall field safety of subcontractors and Project team personnel
Review subcontractor submittals including equipment, Work Plans and QA / QC Plans
Ensures that all construction works are undertaken to required designs, specification, standards and QHSE requirements
Obtain all necessary permits i.e. PTW
Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Be alert to scope changes and be sure that they are approved, recorded, documented, and reported.
Drive HSSE through all construction activity and ensure that all construction activity is in line with HSSE standards and that a robust culture of HSSE is driven through construction teams and service providers.

Specific KPI Targets:

Management and delivery of offshore Construction/Installation phase in compliance to the engineering, health, safety, and environment requirement.

Requirements

A Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Years of experience- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in related Oil and Gas field and 5yrs Experience with offshore installation.
Supervise Piling installation, Heavy lifts, welding, SIMOPS and site-specific activities
Technical knowledge of applicable installation and construction management procedures.
COREN register Engineer or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the related Oil and Gas Field.
He /She will prepare reports, weekly, monthly and overall project progress reports.
Initial contract duration is 6 months with possibility of extension- work rotation of 3 by 1 week.

Remuneration Salary should be moderate and negotiable.
