Sales / Customer Service Representative

Details:A leading telecommunications company in Mubi, Adamawa State is seeking to employ a Sales / Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for sales, information, merchandising, reporting, cash procedures and documentation. We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and motivated individuals who can take the training and tools for success given to them to achieve and exceed sales goals. The candidate will be the front line for presenting the products of the business to potential customers and clients.  Success in this role may lead to career opportunities in other areas of the sales organization and company.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for identifying and aggressively prospecting new business accounts
Aggressively prospect, develop leads using a variety of offline and online sources.
Make certain amount of visits and calls per day, with additional touch points
Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly and monthly sales goals.
Contact prospects to determine business needs and pair those needs to company’s products and services.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Effect sales of handsets, SIM packs, rechargeable cards to current and potential subscribers.
Ensure activation of SIM cards both pre-paid and post-paid
Provide advice to customers on suitable packages for their needs thereby promoting company’s products and services
Provide information regarding account, products/services enquiries
Resolve customer enquiries
Effect sale services (IDD Fax, roaming, data, etc.) to potential customers
Troubleshoot and escalate unresolved customer queries and complaints to Manager or to appropriate unit with the support organization
Educate customers on handling and the use of handsets and how to use the services and maintenance
Handle cash and ensure correct amounts paid;
Print post-paid customer bills
Book faulty phone for repairs
Maintain high quality merchandising
Order stock from primary store to secondary store
Document actions taken to resolve customer problems
Take minutes of meeting and compile weekly report.
Collect and file all documentation received from customers (viz. SIM swaps, activations, subscribers agreement forms, account payment, value added services and capture such information on CRM database
All other duties as may be assigned

RequirementQualification – BA/BSc

Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Development from a reputable institution
Minimum 3 years proven work experience in sales and marketing
