Reporting to: the Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Management and Information Systems (MIS)
Adapt MIS parameters to current procedures (rights of access, users’ profiles, product parameters … )
Update institutional records of the changes made to the structure of the system and/or data
Maintain and save all MIS databases and existing interfaces
Guarantee that MIS data is available, coherent, reliable and confidential at all times
Managing MIS:
Control software and licenses (installed versions, dates of installation, dates of changes made, etc.)
Collect all requests about MIS and enforce all changes and developments validated by the CFO
Project management In the event of a specialist intervention: list desired improvements, control and monitor progress, test, apply changes, update records.
Guarantee a delay for answer inferior to 24h
Save the database on a daily basis
Carry out the daily procedures for data transfer, closing and saving MIS
Train branch staff on MIS as requested by Management
In collaboration with the Administrator of the computer network:
Coordinate the securitization of data, save data
Work on MIS access for remote branches
Develop and enforce the company’s contingency policy
In case of absence of the Administrator, guarantee access to the network and/or hardware
Be available for out of schedule hours. Mobility is required.

General Objectives
Use, control and improve MIS, be receptive to users’ needs, coordinate work with the CFO
Identify priorities for MIS development, propose and implement solutions to the issues faced by users
Keep a record of MIS updates
Guarantee the continuity of activity at branch level
Education / Experience
University degree in Computer science, Administration of Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Microsoft MCSE certificate (desired)
Two or three years of working experience in a similar position
Significant experience in network and database management, preferably in finance
Status: Local contract with Nigerian MFB
Required Skills:
Computer skills: office automation and at least one programming software
Knowledge of network and database management
Ability to work under pressure
Integrity
Undertaking and self-sufficient at work
Staff management skills
Open to new evolutions in the IT field
Mobility (business trips to other towns will be required)
Fluent English (read, write and speak)
Knowledge of microfinance banking operations will be appreciated
