We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-focused CRS & History Teacher to become part of our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will teach dynamic lessons in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History while fostering students’ intellectual growth, ethical understanding, and personal development.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and performance optimization to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate progress toward established targets, identifying areas for enhancement and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align resources, streamline workflows, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation. Prepare and present detailed reports to senior leadership, offering data-driven insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and quality assurance.
Facilitate instructional sessions and deliver subject content in alignment with established teaching frameworks, curriculum guidelines, and institutional protocols.
Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History to foster meaningful learning experiences.
Develop comprehensive lesson notes, assignments, projects, interactive class activities, assessments, and examination materials that are fully aligned with established curriculum standards.
Evaluate students’ academic advancement and deliver constructive feedback regarding the efficacy and comprehensiveness of instructional strategies and teaching plans.
Assess students requiring specialized learning accommodations and collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to establish tailored support plans.
Maintain classroom discipline by enforcing approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions and ensuring any significant disciplinary concerns are reported without delay to the Sectional Head.
Offer spiritual guidance and foster the holistic development—academic, moral, emotional, and social—of students.
Accurately and promptly evaluate and score students’ assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
Continuously monitor and report on students’ academic progress, behavior, and accomplishments to ensure comprehensive oversight and timely feedback.
Develop and sustain clear, constructive communication channels with parents and guardians to provide updates on students’ progress and well-being as needed.
Foster the development of positive values, ethical conduct, leadership skills, and responsible citizenship among students.
Facilitate cohesive teamwork and collaboration while fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Actively engage in staff meetings, school events, professional development sessions, and extracurricular initiatives to foster collaboration and enhance educational outcomes.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Education (B. Ed.) or a Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. (Ed.)) With a specialization in Christian Religious Studies, History, Religious Studies, Education Arts, or a closely related field is required.
The TRCN certification is a mandatory qualification for applicants, demonstrating their adherence to professional teaching standards and regulatory compliance.
A minimum of four years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting is required.
A strong understanding of the CRS and History curriculum is required.
Adept at maintaining an orderly and productive learning environment while effectively conveying information and expectations to students.
Demonstrated capability to motivate students both intellectually and ethically.
