Job Summary
Drive the implementation of programs to actualize approved organisation development and recruitment strategies.
Oversee relevant initiatives/ projects such as job evaluation, update of HR policies and procedures manuals, organisation structures, job descriptions and all other relevant country specific documentations, as approved by Group leadership.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Participate and provide input to the development of relevant programs to facilitate achievement of strategic HR objectives.
Oversee the assessment Organization’s structure, job design, personnel forecasting, job evaluation and grading and make appropriate recommendations to the Director of HR & Administration.
Oversee country-wide organisational capability enhancement initiatives covering areas such as: competency management/ work force development, organisation structure design and updates, succession planning, employee retention, culture alignment and change management.
Champion the implementation of group approved recruitment strategies and plans within Nigeria.
Participate in the design and drive execution of appropriate systems/ frameworks to support recruitment
Plan, develop and forecasts workforce requirement, track and monitor country-wide manning levels.
Liaise with relevant officers within the Group for identification, selection and hiring of best-in-class talent to meet resource needs; liaise with relevant Group officers accordingly.
Conduct periodic reviews of employee records/ documentation and provide recommendations to address findings.
Oversee the management of the recruitment budget and authorize relevant expenditure in line with approved manual of authority.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, HR & Administration.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
Post graduate degree in an HR related discipline.
Professional qualification in HR Management e.g. Senior Professional in HR (SPHR), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) will be an added advantage.
Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience.
