JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess 3 – 5 years active teaching and cognate experience
B.Ed/B.Sc.(Ed)/BA.(Ed.) in Geography. Minimum of second class lower division
Master’s Degree in the relevant area.
Thorough knowledge of IGCSE curriculum
Proven successful teaching experience in Geography
TRCN Membership Certificate or an evidence of on-going registration
Proficiency in Microsoft package
Ensuring high standards of discipline among students
Assisting with school events/extracurricular activities
Participating in CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
Maintaining a good relationship with all stake holders in the school community viz. students, teachers, parents and non-teaching staff
Reporting to the secondary school principal
Strong speaking and listening skills
Strong motivational skills
Versatile and Sensitive
Passionate about students’ achievement
Have a flair for working with young people
