Quality Control Manager

Summary of Function

Responsible for developing, sustaining and implementing polices relating to best
practices in food production and maintain high level of hygiene in Mama Cass
Ensure that the products and services of Mama Cass are fit for purpose and meet
both internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer
expectations
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the
organization
Setting Quality Assurance compliance objectives, writing technical and management
systems reports
Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation
Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
Implementation of environmental, health and safety standards
Identifying relevant food safety and quality- related training needs and
delivering training
Assessing the product specifications of the organization and its suppliers
Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks to ensure quality
food products

Qualifications and Preferences

Must have a B Sc /HND Food Technology, Hospitality and Hotel Management
Must have a minimum of 5 years cognate experience in a large food
processing/catering company
Must be able to lead multiple initiatives through completion
Must be able to multi-task and simultaneously handle important tasks
Strong numeric and analytical skills
Must good knowledge of computer
Good Interpersonal skills
