Job Description
Routine checks and investigations on the generators
Perform preventative maintenance on plant generator.
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on plant generator as required
Ensure the plant generator is run at optimum performance with no down time while on shift
Complete daily Maintenance and Repair logs.
Maintain and secure work tools.
Turn off and lock out equipment when under repair.
Job Requirement:
Basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
OND/HND/B.Sc Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
3 years relevant experience managing industrial size diesiel and gas generators
Ability to read, interpret blueprints and schematics.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
