The OOH Sales Executive, preferably female to ensure gender balance, is tasked with expanding revenue streams by uncovering, cultivating, and finalizing sales opportunities within billboard advertising, LED screens, transit media, and other out-of-home advertising solutions. This position encompasses scouting new clients, overseeing existing accounts, crafting tailored proposals, negotiating agreements, and guaranteeing the seamless execution of campaigns to meet client objectives. Candidates should possess in-depth familiarity with the Nigerian advertising ecosystem, agency networks, and direct-to-brand marketing frameworks.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, team leadership, and project management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to foster innovation, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. Represent the organization in external engagements, cultivating strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, promoting a culture of accountability, growth, and high performance.
Proactively research and cultivate relationships with potential clients spanning brands, agencies, SMEs, political campaigns, and NGOs to expand the client base.
Establish and nurture a robust pipeline of prospective advertisers to ensure consistent growth and opportunity expansion.
Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with advertising agencies and brand managers to drive mutual success and sustainable growth.
Develop comprehensive media proposals, engage in strategic rate negotiation, and finalize contractual agreements with clients and vendors.
Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate site bookings and execute campaigns efficiently.
Monitor campaign performance and ensure proof-of-posting and execution are delivered.
Monitor revenue performance in comparison to established targets and compile weekly sales reports.
Analyze competitors’ actions and deliver comprehensive market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 3–5 years of progressive work experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is required, as is attentiveness to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively are also necessary.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, mass communication, or a related discipline is required.
2–5 years of hands-on experience in advertising sales, media sales, or out-of-home (OOH) marketing, with a preference for candidates familiar with the Nigerian market.
Established connections with advertising agencies and brand marketing teams are essential.
Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or surpassing established sales quotas.
Exceptional ability in negotiation and presentation is required.
Proficiency in Nigerian outdoor advertising regulations, including those enforced by the Lagos State Advertising and Signage Agency (LASSA), the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APRON), and relevant state-level bodies, is required.
Experienced users of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, are required.
