Line Manager: Human Resource OfficerLine reports: N/ALength of contract: 6 months Possibility for extension: YESJOB TASKS

Under the supervision of the Human Resource Officer, the Cook will be responsible for the following activities:
Responsible for the preparation of Full meals per day
Responsible for the preservation, and storage of food, and Non – Food items.
Ensure the supply of safe drinking water to the Guest House.
Ensure the kitchen, and its surrounding are properly clean and respect basic hygiene rules
Responsible for the items, and equipment placed at his/her disposal
Will respect the instruction given by the supervisor.

TASKS DESCRIPTION:

Ensure the daily cleaning, and tidying of the Kitchen and Dining Room.
Ensure the daily cleaning of all Cutleries and Plates.
Ensure the regular supply of clean and drinkable water on the Dining table at all time.
Ensure the availability of cleaning materials ( tissue, napkins, soap, disinfectants mops, brooms)
Ensure the washing, and Cleaning of all cooking Utensils.
Ensure that Waste and left overs are properly disposed.
Ensure that the trash bins are regularly empty, and clean.
Ensure the safety of all items, and equipment placed at his/her disposal
Will respect the instruction given by the supervisor,
Planning for meals, propose menu timetable and post it in clear sight.
Will prepare full meals per day for the staff, respecting hygiene procedures
Responsible for the preservation, and kitchen storage (food and non-food items).
Inform Logistics department to ensure the supply of safe drinking water to the Guest House.
Clean the kitchen, and its surrounding
Responsible for the items, and equipment placed at his/her disposal
Any other tasks as assigned his/her Supervisor.

Other

Be flexible in performing his/her duties
Perform other additional duties on request of the Supervisor
Inform immediately the security focal point in case of any security problem

PROFIL REQUIRED:

Minimum education level: OND or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a similar position (preferably with NGO)
Experience in Preparing Multi-National Cuisine
Familiar with how to prepare Multicultural Dishes
Languages (spoken and written): English and local languages
Strong work ethic and rigor
Strong sense of responsibility
Strong organization skills
Team player
