JOB SUMMARY
We seek a highly skilled and driven Solar Installation Officer with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry. The successful candidate will oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems across residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Install, examine, and service photovoltaic (PV) systems while ensuring strict adherence to all applicable codes and standards.
Translate solar system designs and schematics into actionable implementation plans, ensuring alignment with project specifications and engineering standards.
Perform on-site evaluations to ascertain system prerequisites and the practicality of installation.
Collaborate with project engineers, electricians, and contractors to facilitate the timely and precise execution of installations.
Conduct thorough troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair work on photovoltaic (PV) systems whenever necessary to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, and strong interpersonal skills are required for effective collaboration. A minimum of one year of practical experience in solar photovoltaic installation or a comparable renewable energy discipline is required.
A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field, is required.
Proficiency in the components, wiring configurations, and safety regulations of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems—including adherence to standards such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guidelines—is required.
Proficient in analyzing and comprehending technical drawings and electrical schematics with precision.
Proficient in utilizing the tools, equipment, and testing instruments essential for solar installation procedures.
Proficiency in hybrid systems, battery storage technologies, or solar water heating systems is required.
Relevant certifications, such as those offered by NAB CEP or the PV Installation Professional program, are highly beneficial.
