About The Role
The After Sales – ERP Associate (SAP) is responsible for ensuring the precision, thoroughness, and reliability of all after-sales data within the SAP system. This position includes executing structured daily, weekly, and monthly system entries, such as warranty claims, service orders, field returns, spare parts transactions, and reverse logistics movements. In addition to data entry, the Associate will develop and maintain a performance dashboard to track after-sales activities, support reporting cycles, and contribute significantly to data quality, spare parts inventory optimization, and the ongoing enhancement of SAP utilization across the after-sales organization.
Efficiently manages SAP data entry tasks and oversees transaction processing to ensure accuracy and consistency in information recording. Maintains up-to-date records within the SAP system while performing routine data updates, corrections, and verifications. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to validate data integrity and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensures adherence to established data governance policies and internal controls to support reliable reporting and decision-making processes.
Execute accurate SAP postings in a structured and punctual manner, encompassing all after-sales transactions such as warranty claims, service orders, repair job cards, goods receipts, goods issues, and returns on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule.
Develop and manage Service Notifications, Service Orders (via the CS module), and Repair Orders within SAP, maintaining precise classification, coding, and status updates throughout their entire lifecycle.
Record all incoming returns of goods in SAP, ensuring complete visibility from initial receipt through to final disposition. Process material returns using MILO, execute transfer postings as required, and accurately document scrapping transactions to uphold full traceability throughout the workflow.
Process spare parts transactions in SAP by accurately and promptly recording all stock movements against the appropriate cost centers, plant codes, and storage locations.
Prepare month-end and period-close accounting entries for the post-sales operations, encompassing GR/IR reconciliations, open order settlements, and inventory valuation adjustments.
Ensure the integrity of master data by accurately maintaining records for materials, services, customers, and equipment, promptly identifying any inconsistencies and promptly escalating them to the system administrator for resolution.
Design and upkeep of performance dashboards, ensuring accurate data visualization and real-time monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), are essential responsibilities.
