Education Requirement:

Operation and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment; and valid driving licence would be considered an asset.

Job Description:
Reporting to the General Manager the Farm Manager’s duties will include:
Coordinate seeding, nursery, green house, irrigation, spraying and harvest activities
Coordinating activities and supervision of farm workers and harvest labourers
Develop and implement work schedule, procedures and maintain quality control.
Work with the General Manager to establish; and implement maintenance and repairs of farm buildings, machinery and equipment
Develop prescription and post-harvest maps for seeding, fertilizer application and spraying; and yield maps for harvest
Maintain farm inventories, records and logs; and production records
Monitor and document performance of farm inputs
Hire and train staff
General farm duties as required
Valid driver’s licence would be considered an asset.
