Job Description
Plan, order, prepare cutting lists, and process meat according to the work plan and standards to maximise sales and gross profit.
Ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
May include the preparation of meat products involving the use of grinders, power jacks, scales, wrapping machines, saws and knives.

Managing meat processing (producing various meat cuts for sale)

Staff management and training
Requirements
Experience as a butcher in a modern supermarket or meat processing company or meat shop
Proficient in meat merchandising and retail packaging
3-5 years prior working experience as a butchery manager/supervisor/similar role
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any field
