Should take complete responsibility of all furnace and batch house operations.
Close coordination with the team members of own team & other department heads to achieve the end result is a must. Should design a diplomatic feedback mechanism to take the team along.
Responsible for planning and procurement of raw materials required for manufacturing of glass both locally and from other international suppliers.
Should be able to solve day to day problems regarding glass Quality and also should have ability to do effective color changes as per plant requirement.
Responsible for an effective energy management.
Responsible for the planning & execution of small, minor repairs for maintenance of batch house and furnace in good operating condition for its life.
Should ensure good manufacturing systems in place in terms of checklists, log books, History Tracking etc for effective maintenance management for batch house and furnace operations.
Should establish right (Predictive, Preventive & Break down) maintenance practices for all the equipments related to furnace and batch house.
Should focus on safety for personnel and Equipments. Should comply with health practices as per the law.
Expectations
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
20+ years experience in the container glass manufacturing industry.
