The Role
The Internal Control Unit is actively seeking a skilled Internal Control Officer to enhance the effectiveness of the internal control framework across the organization.
This position will involve evaluating financial transactions, procurement activities, reconciliations, and operational processes in accordance with the COST framework to uphold operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction.
What You Will Do
Monitor and oversee all controls pertaining to loan approvals, interest calculations, reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger postings to ensure accuracy and compliance with established financial standards.
Perform daily assessments of operational transactions such as account openings, loans, payments, deposits, and expenses.
Examine commission and incentive calculations to ensure accuracy and alignment with established policies and procedures.
Monitor exceptions in tracking controls and ensure follow-up actions are taken by process owners to address and resolve issues across diverse business functions.
Ensure adherence to internal policies as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
