The Bentley Nevada Technical Sales Manager leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field.
In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities to maintain and grow the sales pipeline
Develop and execute sales strategies relevant to the market opportunities
Communicate individual customer requirements for Sales Manager in regards to design and quotation
Gather industry intelligence to inform business decision-making.
Communicate requirements for order fulfilment to sourcing and operations
Direct customer management through clear communication internally and externally
Document competitors’ activities and assess potential market moves.
Review and influence customer specifications to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions for development of equipment and service quotations
Make technical presentations to all levels of customer organization.
Develop engineering and installation work scopes, schedules and cost estimates to facilitate total scope project offerings
Manage and negotiate commercial and contractual risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process
Contribute positively to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality goals
Educate Sales, Services and ITO team on latest NPI’s – New Products introductions through trainings and workshops

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Commercial or Oil & Gas industry
Bentley Nevada Technical competency
A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
Six sigma training is preferred

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong customer mindset
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Ability to travel on short notice across the region and for 50% of the time
