Purpose of roleOverall responsibility for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant assets including all aspects of operations, routine maintenance, technical support necessary for day-to-day operation and HSE/SCD/SecurityResponsibilities
Provides expert advice and act as training resource on all HSE related matters
Ensures the integrity of the Operations and Management System
Oversees the execution of the contract with the O&M contractor and LTSA (Long term service agreements) with the OEMs
Provides best industry practice to continually develop opportunities for improvement
Provides engineering, reliability and integrity, projects, shutdown, contracts and procurement, and maintenance management support to the O&M contractor
Responsible for asset integrity of the facilities and the protection of assets thereof.
Ensures the integrity of the Asset Reliability and Asset Integrity Management System and proper management of Field Logistics Base (FLB), if required.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Graduate with 15 – 20 years’ experience in integrated Gas & Power operations at senior supervisory level with a degree in engineering and/or technical discipline
15 years’ experience in power industry & currently at senior leadership position in a power/process industry.
Experience in commercial power plant Asset management with broad understanding of production systems and power purchase agreements as well as engineering/projects and operations readiness/assurance.
Experience with Alstom Gas and Steam Turbine-Generators.
Strong interpersonal skills and a willing team player; capable of communicating well at all levels, both within and outside the organization and especially with government and industry representatives.
