Position Summary:The Brand Communications Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer in all aspects of brand communication, website management and social media campaign. The ideal candidate will do copywriting, product development, editing and e-channels content management.
Job Description
Facilitate and manage all external online communications
Build and maintain consistent brand and corporate identity across all social media; digital media and public relations channels.
Develop advertising strategies, goals, promotional activities and publicity initiatives in consultation with the Chief Operating Officer and Global Harvest Church Admin.
Coordinate all online media and advertising efforts
Create and manage Rev Victor’s daily devotionals
Support Harvest House publishing efforts by editing and proofreading all manuscripts
Podcast management for Rev Victor Adeyemi
Manage the social media marketing strategy for Global Harvest Church and Victor Adeyemi Ministries; focusing on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
Execution of all social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach, doing the heavy lifting, etc) for Global Harvest Church and Victor Adeyemi Ministries.
Communicate in a professional, but unique social media “voice” for Global Harvest Church and Victor Adeyemi Ministries
Create social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drive traffic to Global Harvest Church and Victor Adeyemi Ministries’ sites
Post several Facebook posts and tweets at least 30 – 50 times a day while engaging influencers to increase the followership of our social media profiles; receiving multiple mentions and retweets in the process.
Work within Hootsuite, CoSchedule, SEOMoz, FollowerWonk, and other social media tools.
Transcribe Rev Victor’s messages and write one blog post a week
Qualifications
A first degree in any field from a reputable university
At least three years experience managing digital media and generating content.
Church experience or experience working with a ministry (either full time or as a volunteer) will be an added advantage.
Evidence of attendance and completion of relevant social/ digital media training or courses.
