Location: Mubi, Adamawa The ICLA Officer reports to: The ICLA Coordinator. Generic responsibilities
Implement cash for rent activities according to plan and budget
To assist the Program Development Manager in all aspects of cash for rent programs planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
To assist in the identification of community and shelter rent needs
To assess the cash for rent training needs of the ICLA team and assists in the development of appropriate training materials and plans
Provides technical assistance to the ICLA team and Program Development Manager and local counterparts on issues of cash for rent information and communication strategies
Assists in the compilation of weekly and monthly reports, program documents, project proposals, and budgets
Ensure proper filing of documents
Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist
Ensure adherence to NRC policies and donor requirements
Manage ICLA Project assistants for implementation of the cash for rent activities
Specific Responsibilities
The Officer is expected to achieve the following during this contract period.
In liaison with the ICLA team Identify register and verify vulnerable IDP HH for rent assistance
Involve and inform communities and community leaders about the activities
Break down the annual operational plans into weekly, monthly and quarterly implementation plans
Coordinate with relevant partners
Ensure that procurement, development and distribution of cash for rent is timely and according to procedures
Supervise, train and develop the ICLA team
Prepare periodic progress reports and other documents as required
Investigate and facilitate introduction of new technology, methods and approaches in order to improve the quality of the activities
Performs any other duties as requested by the ICLA Program Development Manager
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience of project implementation in humanitarian/recovery contexts;
Degree in Law or any related field
Knowledge on Microsoft office excel, word, power point e.t.c
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities;
Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile;
Fluency in English, both written and verbal;
Fluency in Kanuri would be an added advantage
