Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Researches, plans, designs, and administers building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
Prepares architectural details as and when required for execution of works.
Ensure that the architect’s design is delivered by the contractor and is responsible for dealing with any on-site design problems that arise.
Addresses modifications desired by Client in co-ordination with Design Architect.
Assists Project Manager in review and selection of architectural materials are in compliance with approved material submittals. Issues all architectural correspondences.
Highlights any violations to architectural related issues on site
Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist Project Manager in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in project’s drawings.
Functional Relationships Internal:
Provide support to Project Manager/team leader to ensure projects run smoothly in areas of architecture by providing expert knowledge and advice.
Liaises with Design Architect on modifications required.
Give daily site report and issues that arises on site to MD/ Project Manager.
External:
Communicates with contractors for requirements.
Experience / Qualification
Minimum Degree in Architecture/ Civil Engineering/Building or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Professional Certification in Project Management is an added Advantage.
Min Required Experience: 5-7 year(s)
