Overview

The Supervisor – Global Trade, Supply Chain & Logistics provides oversight of international supply chain and logistics operations from start to finish, guaranteeing the seamless movement of goods across borders in strict adherence to global trade regulations. This position leads the execution of logistics activities, management of trade documentation, coordination with customs authorities, and freight handling while fostering cross-functional collaboration to facilitate cost-efficient, punctual, and compliant global trade operations.

Oversee and execute a range of essential duties, including but not limited to managing daily operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project completion, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and recommend data-driven solutions to optimize outcomes. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align objectives, address concerns, and foster a productive work environment. Additionally, supervise staff performance, provide mentorship and training, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Global Trade and Compliance professionals oversee the adherence to international trade regulations, ensuring that all import and export activities comply with relevant customs laws, sanctions, and trade agreements. They manage documentation, verify compliance with licensing requirements, and mitigate risks associated with global transactions. These experts collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline trade processes, resolve compliance discrepancies, and implement best practices to support seamless international operations while minimizing legal and financial exposure.

Maintain adherence to all international trade laws, customs regulations, export/import controls, and sanction regimes without exception.

Collaborate with customs brokers and regulatory agencies across various jurisdictions to facilitate the smooth processing of clearance procedures.

Drive strategic initiatives and oversee end-to-end Supply Chain & Logistics Operations to ensure seamless flow of goods, optimal inventory levels, and timely delivery to customers. Develop and implement innovative logistics solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and maintain high service standards across distribution networks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including procurement, production, and sales—to align supply chain strategies with business objectives, mitigate risks, and capitalize on growth opportunities. Lead continuous improvement efforts through data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and adoption of cutting-edge technologies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and sustainability practices while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
