All activities providing the necessary support on pre- and post-contractual administration & management, Terms & Conditions of the contract and the Management of claims.
Also involves definition, management, and execution of risk modeling activities in support of the contract or project.
Also involves definition, management, and execution of contract estimating processes and activities to support tenders and project reviews.
Essential Responsibilities The role includes ownership of the customer relationship & ability to meet internal GE objectives. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Interface with ITO and Risk teams for new customer opportunities
Execute contract obligations to achieve Financial Operating Plan
Order / track / validate Billing for major/minor maintenance parts and services requested by the customer cost or financial data collection and reconciliation.
Provide information and drive sales regarding the latest advancements in conversion, modification, & upgrade opportunities to owner & as well as other up selling opportunities
Maintain unit operating history & parts life history on commercially available software
Maintain record of parts (by model & serial number) currently installed in each unit
Develop sales plan for each Customer
Support customer in forced, unplanned and planned unit outages
Build strong partnerships within the value chain organization, which will be extremely important to deliver high quality services
Develop and maintain an understanding of power plant or machine driven industries
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Services or industry related experience
Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Customer Contract Management
Turbine technology experience (minimum of 3 years)
Demonstrated management experience (minimum of 3 years)
Fluent in spoken/written English
A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
