Details:Headstart-into-Entrepreneurship is a program to enhance the capacity of entrepreneurs to develop, incubate and scale-up sustainable businesses that can support Nigeria’s growth and development.The Headstart-into-Entrepreneurship facilitator/trainer is responsible for delivering the curriculum and coordinating the training session. Duties
Coordinating and administering the SOS headstart into entrepreneurship workshop to meet the desired learning objectives
Preparing assignments and activities for participants
Leading follow†up and evaluation of the learning, collecting feedback and tracking learning, during and after the workshop
The trainers are required to relay their personal experiences in running businesses (if any) and skills for success in business to extend/entrench participants learning. The trainers are allowed to make adjustments to the workshop design-structure and learning activities as required for the situation.

TIME COMMITMENT
1 day induction training
Attending feedback and evaluation meeting once after each training cycle
1 training day to deliver a module per cycle
7 HOURS A WEEK (MINIMUM) [A cycle lasts for 8 sessions (delivered over 3 weeks or 4 weeks) and runs all through the year]
Flexible (either a weekday / weekend)
Other RequirementsSubmitting performance reports / monitoring & evaluation forms after administering a module ASSIGNMENTFacilitators/Trainers will be assigned based on proximity to the location.SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Presentation – communicating ideas, using visual and other aids, giving feedback, listening skills.
Facilitation – managing activities, eliciting contributions and learning, creative and innovative thinker, ability to create an atmosphere of confidence among participants.
One-to-one – coaching, counseling, mentoring, advising, assessing
Consultancy – investigating, advising, evaluating
Design – designing activities, e-literate, knowledge of group development, including the ability to sense a group’s mood and change methods or adjust the program on the spot.
Interpersonal – building relationships, ability to handle conflict, trust in other people and their capacities, respect for the opinions of others, does not impose ideas on others, adaptable.
Assertiveness – confidence, challenging and supporting.
Expertise and Interest – knowledgeable, insightful, up to date, enthusiastic about being a trainer.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
IT proficient.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A university degree in any field
Masters’ or PhD in business field or certification(s) in business courses will be desirable
Previous training experience in any of the roles listed above or similar business module
2 years running a successful business will be desirable
