The incumbent is assigned to the Facilities Maintenance Section and reports directly to the FSN Assistant Facility Manager (A/FM) for all assigned duties.
S/he supervises the daily activities of the maintenance personnel assigned to all USG Residential Buildings both Government Own Properties (GOPs) and Short Term Leases (STLs).
The incumbent will provide supervision for the day shift and on-call supervision of emergency duty and maintenance support for OBO visiting contractors and surveying teams.
S/he plans, coordinates and supervises all assigned Maintenance & Repairs (M&R) renovation activities and Preventive Maintenance Programs and forwards to the A/FM and Facility Manger (FM) for approval.

Completion of Secondary school, vocational training or an apprenticeship recognized as producing journeyman mechanic skills is required.
Minimum of five years (5) responsible experience in maintenance or construction management and planning with a private business or government organization.
Three of the five years must be supervisory experience, management and planning skills.
Level III (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Writing/Reading in English is required.
Language proficiency will be tested.
Good knowledge of building and grounds maintenance operations as well as a good knowledge of maintenance trades operating practices and procedures is required.
Ability to supervise multi-trade workforce effectively, including devising work schedules and providing the job instruction is required.
A valid Nigerian driver’s license is required.
