Job Summary

We invite applications for the position of Sales and Marketing Executive, a dynamic and results-driven role focused on fostering business expansion across Bayes and Barri.

The ideal candidate will identify emerging market opportunities, cultivate and maintain client relationships, implement sales strategies, and play a key role in enhancing regional brand performance.

Oversee a range of critical functions including strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity and compliance. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development within the team. Represent the organization in key stakeholder meetings, negotiations, and industry events to strengthen partnerships and brand reputation.

Explore and cultivate new business prospects within the Bayes and Barri markets to broaden the customer base and enhance revenue growth.

Develop and nurture enduring relationships with high-value clients, wholesalers, and distributors to strengthen customer loyalty and ensure sustained satisfaction.

Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve or surpass predefined sales objectives while maintaining consistent product availability and visibility throughout the assigned territory.

Analyze market trends, track competitor actions, and assess customer behavior to generate actionable insights that enhance sales and marketing initiatives.

Execute product demonstrations, organize regional events, and engage in marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing product visibility and driving revenue growth.

Prepare detailed, punctual reports on sales performance, market trends, inventory levels, and client feedback for senior leadership.

Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to facilitate the prompt delivery of products and address client concerns effectively.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in algorithms and data structures. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, such as an OND, HND, or B.Sc., is required.

A minimum of two years’ direct experience in field sales, ideally within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector, is required.

Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the Lagos market landscape and its intricate distribution networks, including key players, regional dynamics, and logistical pathways essential for effective market penetration and operational strategy.

Skilled in fostering strong relationships, conveying ideas clearly, and securing mutually beneficial agreements through tactful dialogue and persuasive techniques.

Proven capability to operate autonomously while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines through effective time management strategies.

Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and foundational reporting tools is required.

The ideal candidate must be based in Bayes and Barri.
